Festivals are held in the months of Avani, Tai and Vaikasi at Samithoppu Pathi, the chieftain of the Ayyavahi people. On the 20th day of Masi, Ayya Vaigunder’s incarnation day is celebrated. The Thirtha well called Muthripadam in this padi is special. worship, It is believed that by sprinkling this thirtha pada on the ayya worship without abhishekam, all merits are completed. This tirtha is also hailed as an elixir. Every year lakhs of people come to worship in the name of Mundasu Katti Deepa. Also a cot has been placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of Sami Thoppu Chief. On top of it is placed an Akhilatradu Lachuvadi. This bed is changed every year. Because the old bed is completely torn. People of Ayya Path believe that Ayya Vaikunder comes and sleeps in this bed.

On the day of the beginning of Thiru Edu reading festival in Swamithoppa padi, it is held in pads like Ambalapadi, Muttapadi, Bhupadi, Thetsanathu Dwarakapati, Vagai padi. Thiruedu is not transported from Thenthamaraikulam padi to these padi.

For ten or fifteen days in Bhupathi, Thiru Edu conducts a reading festival. Thiruedu reading festival is held for seventeen days in Ambalapadi and seventeen days in Dwarka Padi (Friday from 5:50). Thiru Edu reading festival is also held in Vagai Padi for seventeen days.

If it is ten days, eight and nine days are taken as Tirukalyana Edu reading. Although it is held for ten days, the Thiruedu reading festival starts on Friday and ends on Sunday.

It can be believed that Ayya Vaikunda Swami gave Akhilattu Ammanai as the holy book of the Ayya Path people during the period when oppressed people were forbidden to touch, hear and read the Vedas. Ayya ​​Vaikunder who marries Ikan is said to unite the female deities with herself.
